KATHIE'S FRENCH ONION QUICHE | |
Pastry for 9" single pie crust OR use deep dish frozen pie shell 2 cans (3 oz. ea.) French fried onions 3 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/4 tsp. salt Generous dash of cayenne pepper 1 c. Sharp Cheddar cheese, grated Line pie pan with pastry and flute edges. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spread French fried onion rings in bottom of pastry shell. In small bowl beat eggs; beat in milk, salt and cayenne pepper. Pour mixture over onions. Over top sprinkle the grated cheese. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake additional 15-20 minutes, or until custard is set. Cool slightly before serving. Makes 6 servings. |
