ORANGE CHICKEN 
2 1/2 - 3 lb. chicken, skinned, boned & cut in pieces
1 1/4 c. orange juice
1 1/2 tbsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. molasses
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 orange, peeled & sectioned
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. green peppers, diced
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. powdered ginger
2 tbsp. arrowroot
1/4 c. water

Place chicken in a 10" skillet. In mixing bowl, combine orange juice, turmeric, molasses, mustard, garlic powder, green peppers, cinnamon and ginger. Pour over chicken, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 to 50 minutes until chicken is tender. Remove chicken and keep warm in serving platter. Combine arrowroot and water, add to remaining pan juices, simmer 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture thickens. Pour over chicken. Garnish with orange slices.
