HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
12 oz. grated American cheese
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. small onion chopped
2 c. crushed cornflakes
1/2 c. melted butter

Place thawed potatoes in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix butter, cheese, sour cream, salt and onion together and pour over potatoes. Top with crushed cornflakes. Drizzle butter over all. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
