2 lbs. ground chuck, ground twice 1 slice white bread soaked in cold water 1 sm. onion, diced 4 tbsp. chili sauce (use from chili sauce used for the sauce) 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Taste for salt and pepper. let white bread absorb as much cold water as it can hold and beat well. Mix all the ingredients together. make small balls and drop into sauce which is simmering. Cook for 20 minutes. SAUCE: 1 jar Welch's grape jelly 1 jar chili sauce Juice of half lemon Simmer to slow boil. |
