WATERGATE CAKE 
1 pkg. white cake mix without pudding
1 sm. pkg. pistachio instant pudding
1 c. oil
1 c. ginger ale
3 eggs
1/2 c. walnuts

Combine ingredients for the cake. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan. DO NOT grease and flour the pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Frost.

FROSTING:

1 sm. pkg. pistachio instant pudding
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1/2 c. milk

Mix together the frosting ingredients with an electric mixer. Spread over the cake. Top with walnuts and cherries.
