KRISPY COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. rolled oats
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut (optional)

Cream shortening and sugars; add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Stir in oats, Rice Krispies and coconut. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Yield 4 dozen cookies.
