SCONES 
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco (or butter)
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
Enough milk to make a stiff dough (about 1 to 1 1/2 c.)
1 handful raisins (optional)

Bake on a cookie sheet at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Make each scone about 2" wide.
