1 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg

Mix all dry ingredients together. Combine remaining ones and drop by teaspoon into hot oil, enough to flip hush puppy. Fry until done.
