LAZY DAZE OATMEAL CAKE | |
1 3/4 c. boiling water 1 c. oats 1/2 c. butter buds, liquid form 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. egg substitute or 3 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 c. flour Pour boiling water over oats. Let stand 20 minutes. Mix butter buds and sugars. Beat until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and eggs. Stir in oats. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 inch baking dish, sprayed with non-stick spray and dusted with flour. Bake at 350°F for 50-55 minutes. Do not remove from baking dish until serving. |
