This was a delicious recipe I made for our home school group. Chocolaty, creamy, moist, and chewy. Will be using this recipe again. Thank you and God Bless!!!

Use only 2 eggs if you want this to be less cake like.

I just made these brownies and they are great! I added 1 cup of chocolate chips to the mix. The brownies were so moist!! My husband just said how delicious they are! My new recipe!

I used Crisco instead of butter and added a little milk, plus tossed in some semi-sweet chocolate chips. I didn't really have the stirring problem that other reviewers seemed to.. I was using a fork to stir so I dunno if that had anything to do with it? Anyway I was also using a convection oven and even still had to bake for a good 40 minutes. The top ended up kinda crunchy. It also had more of a cake-like texture than brownie. But it was very tasty!

Delicious - we have been making brownies from scratch for years and these quickly became the favorite. Added chocolate chips for more chocolate flavor and cooked for 35 minutes.

I am a severe corn allergic and this is the only recipe for brownies I can eat. They are GREAT.

I just made these, I think that the consistency was perfect for brownies and they were easy to make. I used a hand mixer and added the flour 1/2 cup at a time. I feel like they needed to be more chocolately.

Did anyone else's take over 25 minutes? other than that, amazing brownies!

 Debbie (Delaware) replies:
Emma, oven preheat time doesn't count!

 Christina (Indiana) replies:
These were easy to make and they rose to the top of the pan like a cake, but they did take well over 25 minutes to cook (Emma) for me as well; Pre-heat time not included they took about 45 minutes to bake. My temp was at 350°F, on a brand new gas stove so I don't know what happened there. Good brownies, but I agree that they could've been a bit more chocolatey. Gonna add chocolate chips next time around.

I was craving brownies and was out of oil and some other ingredients called for in the recipes that I have used in the past. This one got good reviews so I decided to try it out. FANTASTIC!!!! Loved them. I melted my butter and a square of baking chocolate together to give it a richer taste. Turned out perfect!
