CARNATION POUND CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. Carnation milk
2 sticks butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, butter and Crisco; add eggs one at a time. Add flour alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Ice with Fudge Icing.

REAL FUDGE ICING:

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sweet milk
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together except vanilla. Boil rapidly for exactly 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into mixer and beat 5 minutes.
