CARROT BARS | |
4 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 3 sm. jars baby food carrots 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 c. cooking oil 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained 2 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. walnuts Combine all ingredients in order; blend well. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes. Put in greased 9'x13" pan or for flatter bars put in greased cookie sheet (will fit in 1 large cookie sheet or 2 small ones). FROSTING: 3 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. butter Mix when cream cheese is softened. Mix well. Do not frost bars until cool. |
