OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. molasses
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and molasses thoroughly. Measure flour by sifting. Stir dry ingredients together, blend in. Stir in oats, nuts, and raisins. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
