APPLE CRISP 
Combine and cut with pastry blender:

1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Add:

1/2 c. oatmeal

Stir together and pat over sliced apples in 8x8 inch pan.

I add about 1/2 cup of water, sprinkled over apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I also sprinkle a little more water over the topping for a "chewier" apple crisp.

Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!!
