DILLY BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. cottage cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm. Combine cottage cheese, yeast, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda and egg. Mix. Work in flour. Shape into round loaf. Place in well greased casserole. Let rise for 20 minutes. Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. After removing from oven, brush top with butter, sprinkle with salt. Yield: 1 loaf.
