BREAKFAST EGG DISH | |
6-7 slices white bread, cubed 1 lb. cubed ham 1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese 3 lg. eggs, lightly beaten 2 c. milk 1 stick butter, melted & cooled 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Toss bread, cheese, ham and seasonings. Put into buttered 9"x9" glass pan. Beat eggs and milk. Pour over dry ingredients. Then pour melted butter over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In morning let stand 30 minutes out of refrigerator before cooking. Crush 1 cup of corn flakes and sprinkle over top. Then bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. |
