CRAWFISH CASSEROLE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. chopped onions 1/2 c. chopped bell peppers 1/2 c. chopped green onions 2 lb. crawfish tails 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. red pepper Salt to taste 1 c. mushroom stems and pieces 1/4 c. chopped parsley 2 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1 egg, beaten Saute onions in butter for about 5 minutes. Add bell pepper, green onions and crawfish tails and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Add seasoning, mushrooms, and parsley. Remove from heat and add 2 cups bread crumbs and beaten egg. Stir and mix well. Pour into a buttered casserole dish. Top with 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. |
