BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lb. filet of beef
1 onion
3 tbsp. butter
1 lb. mushrooms
2 cloves garlic
1/2 c. red wine
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Salt & pepper
1 c. sour cream

Chop the onion, garlic, slice the mushrooms and saute in butter until soft but not browned. Slice the beef in thin strips, about 2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. Add to the pan and saute for about 6 minutes until evenly brown. Add the seasoning and wine; simmer, stirring as it cooks. Add the sour cream. Making sure it doesn't boil and serve with noodles, rice or new potatoes.
