2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1 2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add sugar, cocoa and Crisco. Beat. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour into cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until done. When you touch the top and it springs back. Frost with chocolate or white frosting. Powdered sugar with melted butter and milk.
