1 c. cornstarch
2 c. baking soda
1 1/2 c. cold water
Food coloring

Add food coloring to water, then mix well with other ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat about 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture thickens to the consistency of mashed potatoes.

Cover with a damp cloth to cool. Knead until smooth. Objects may be left to dry overnight and then painted. Store unused clay in an airtight container.
