CHICKEN BAKED WITH BEER 
2 broiler-fryers, cut up
1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
Bacon drippings or oil
4 fresh tomatoes, peeled and sliced, or 2 c. canned
1/4 c. tomato paste
1 bottle beer
1 c. sliced onions
1 c. sliced peppers
Salt and pepper
Chopped parsley

Combine salt, paprika and flour. Coat chicken and brown in fat or oil. Transfer to large casserole or pan. Saute onions and green pepper in drippings until soft. Pour over chicken. Combine tomatoes and paste with beer. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with parsley. Bake covered at 325 degrees about 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
