MACARONI CASSEROLE | |
1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey 4 oz. macaroni 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. flour 1 lb. can tomatoes 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese 1/4 tsp. crushed basil 1/4 tsp. oregano 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Cook macaroni; drain and rinse. Brown beef, onion and green peppers in skillet. Stir in flour. After browned, add tomatoes. Cook until thickened. Stir in cheese, seasoning and macaroni. Put all in 2 quart casserole. Bake 20-25 minutes. |
