3 tubes Pillsbury crescent rolls 5 whole chicken breasts 1/2 stick butter 1 1/2 c. finely diced celery 1 med. onion, chopped finely 1 c. sour cream 1 c. mayonnaise 1 sm. can mushrooms, drained & chopped 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. lemon juice Seasoned bread crumbs Cook chicken, debone and cube. Melt butter, add celery, onion, mushrooms and saute 4 minutes. Stir in mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add chicken. Unroll rolls, press together perforated seams. Each tube makes 4 rectangles. Place 1/2 cup chicken mixture in center, fold all corners of dough to top and seal. Seal all seams. Brush tops with melted butter and dip in bread crumbs. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. |
