CHEWY RAISIN OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. butter
1-1/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. oats, uncooked
1 c. raisins

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by heaping teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
