1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped peaches

Cream butter and sugar. Mix in egg. Add milk alternately with flour and baking powder. Add peaches last.

TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. melted butter

Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over muffins. Bake at 400 degrees. Serves 12.
