1 (6 oz.) lemon gelatin
1 (13 2/3 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (7 oz.) bottle ginger ale
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 (2 oz.) pkg. Dream Whip
1 c. pecans
1 tbsp. sweet butter
1 (8 oz.) softened creamed cheese

Drain pineapple. Reserve juice. Add water to make 1 cup. Place in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add gelatin, cool. Add ginger ale slowly. Chill until partially set, stir together, cranberry sauce and pineapple. Add to partially set gelatin. Follow directions on package and make Dream Whip. Add softened cream cheese and Dream Whip together and spread on top of molded salad. Toast pecans in butter, 10 minutes. Cool and set on top of salad. Serves 8. Great with roast chicken - turkey.
