MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
16 c. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. grocery bag, sprayed with Pam

Microwave brown sugar, butter and syrup 2 minutes on high (until bubbly), remove and stir. Return to microwave for 3 minutes, stopping to stir mixture every minute. Remove and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla, stir. Place popped corn in large paper bag (already sprayed with Pam) add caramel mixture over popcorn, close bag and shake.

Place bag in microwave for 30 seconds, remove and shake well. Repeat this process 2 more times. Last 30 seconds, shake 1 last time, pour mixture onto cookie sheet, spread. Break apart and store in airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
