RIBBON MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
3 slices bread, torn
1 egg yolk
1 c. milk
1/4 c. minced onion
Salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper, mustard, sage, celery salt, garlic

CHEESE FILLING:

1 egg white beaten
1 tbsp. water
2 slices bread
4 oz. crumbled blue cheese or cheddar cheese

Grease loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir bread and milk together; add the rest and stir. Put half of meat mix in pan.

Make cheese filling. Combine egg white and water; toss lightly with bread crumbs and cheese.

Layer cheese filling, then add the rest of the meat mixture and pat, forming a loaf. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Top with catsup.
