LOW FAT VEGETABLE SOUP | |
1 or 2 lb. pkg. carrots 1 pkg. turnips 1 pkg. parsnips 2 med. sized rutabagas 1 lg. onion 2 c. celery 1 or 2 cans stewed tomatoes (or fresh) Soup beef base Peel and dice vegetables. Add water to cover them. Add soup beef base according to directions on package. Bring to a boil and boil gently until vegetables are tender. Large quantity. Freezes well. |
