1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. Log Cabin syrup

Mix and roll into balls. Press down slightly with fork. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
