MY FAVORITE GRANOLA | |
6 c. rolled oats 1 c. sesame seeds 1 c. wheat germ 1 c. sunflower seeds 1 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. walnut pieces 1 c. slivered almonds 1/2 c. corn oil 1/2 c. honey 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. water Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl. In smaller bowl mix water, oil, honey, and vanilla. Heat in microwave just until honey will blend with water and oil, then pour over dry ingredients, stirring until well blended. Pat into two shallow pans. Bake in preheated oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes and at end of 30 minute period. Turn down oven to 275 degrees an bake in 3 10-minute segments, stirring after each 10 minutes. Do not let it burn. |
