PEACH OR STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 baked pie shell or graham cracker crust
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 c. water
1 pkg. peach or strawberry Jello

Combine sugar, cornstarch, Karo syrup and water. Cook until thick and clear. Add Jello. Stir until Jello is dissolved, then cool. Slice peaches or strawberries into cooled pie shell and cover with the following. Refrigerate. Cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
