LIPTON PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. boneless chuck steak, cut into thin 2" strips
Shortening to brown meat
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. water
2 med. green peppers, cut into thin strips
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch

In large skillet, brown meat, turning frequently. Stir in soup mix and water. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Stir in peppers and simmer, covered, 10 minutes or until meat is tender. Blend cornstarch with 1 1/2 cups water. Stir into skillet. Cook while stirring until thickened. Serve with rice.
