PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
28-30 oz. drained pineapple slices
Maraschino cherry halves
Whipped cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in 13x9x2 pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan. Drain fruit. Arrange slices and cherries on sugar. Mix cake, using directions on package. Pour batter over fruit.

Bake at 350 degrees about 50 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes for topping to begin to set. Turn upside down onto large platter. Serve warm with whipped cream.
