CHESS PIE 
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. corn meal
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. white vinegar
8 inch unbaked pie shell

On low heat, melt butter. Cool slightly. Add eggs, sugar and cornmeal. Cook on medium heat for 1 minute, stirring continually. Add vanilla and vinegar and cook 1 minute. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Then 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Serves 6.
