PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
4 med. potatoes, peeled
1 lg. onion
4 pork chops or pork steak
2 tbsp. butter
1 can mushroom sup
1/2 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat oven to 350 degrees (medium). Brown chops on both sides in hot fat. Slice potatoes in casserole dish; season. Slice onion; place on potatoes. Dot butter over this. Place chops and cover with mushroom soup and water. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours. Uncover the last 20 minutes.
