HOBO BREAD 
2 c. raisins
4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. oil
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

In evening, pour 2 1/2 c. boiling water over 2 cups raisins add 4 tsp. baking soda, let stand overnight. In morning, add 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 4 tbsp. oil, 4 cup flour, 1/2 tsp. salt. Grease well 3 (1 b.) coffee cans. Fill each half full. Bake 60 to 70 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 1/2 hour before removing from cans. 1 cup chopped nuts optional.
