HOBO BREAD 
3 (1 lb.) coffee cans
2 c. raisins
2 c. boiling water
4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. oil
4 c. sifted flour

Add soda to boiling water with raisins and stir. Cover overnight. In morning add remaining ingredients. Grease and flour the 3 cans. Fill each can half full. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Immediately remove from cans. Cool. Freezes well. Goes well with cream cheese.
