5 eggs
1 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 dozen donuts or bread

Mix well.

Heat 5 or 6 cups milk. Add first 4 ingredients to milk; pour over cut-up donuts. Cook in long loaf pan. Cook in 350 degree oven until brown.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla (add after sauce is thick)

Pour over pudding while hot.
