BEEF STROGANOFF I 
1 lb. fillet of beef, sliced into strips
1 lg. onion, diced
1 c. sliced mushrooms
2 c. sour cream
3 tbsp. chopped dill pickle
Salt & pepper to taste
1 c. brown sauce or demi-glaze
2 shots of brandy

Saute the onions until transparent, add the sliced mushrooms and cook for one minute, then add the beef. Saute the beef for two or three minutes, add the brandy and flame the beef. When the flame dies out, add the dill pickle, brown sauce, sour cream and pepper and salt to taste. Heat thoroughly and serve with rice or noodles. Serves 6.
