FIRST LADY'S BAKED BEANS 
2 (1 lb.) cans pork & beans
1/2 c. white syrup
2 tbsp. yellow mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. dark brown sugar, plus a little for top
1 strip bacon

Combine first 5 ingredients and 1/2 cup of brown sugar in a bean pot. Sprinkle remaining brown sugar on top and arrange bacon strip like-wise. Bake, uncovered, in a 325 degree oven for about 1 hour or until thickened and crusty on the top.
