CHILI PIZZA | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. diced onion (about 1 c.) 2 med. crushed cloves garlic 1/2 tsp. chili powder 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. refrigerated buttermilk biscuits 3/4 c. mild taco sauce 1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese (about 4 oz.) 1/4 c. pitted black olives, sliced Heat oven to 400 degrees. In 10 inch skillet, cook ground beef, onion, garlic, and chili powder until beef is browned. Meanwhile, press biscuits into center of ungreased 12 inch pizza pan, pinching edges together to seal. Arrange remaining 12 biscuits around sides to make a thick high border, overlapping and pinching to seal. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden. Remove crust from oven; spread crust bottom with taco sauce. Spoon meat mixture over sauce; sprinkle with cheese and olives. Bake 8 minutes longer until cheese is melted. |
