CHERRY RITZ 
4 egg whites
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
30 Ritz crackers
1/2 c. chopped nuts
4 med. bananas
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar and vanilla while continually beating. Add baking powder and blend well. Coarsely crush crackers. Add to egg white mixture along with nuts. Stir until well mixed. Grease a 9"x9" pan and place mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and cover with sliced bananas. Spread half of cream cheese mixture over bananas. Then spread the cherry pie filling over cream cheese filling. Top with remaining cream cheese mixture. Cover with nuts if desired.

CREAM CHEESE FILLING:

1 lg. carton Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

Mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Blend in Cool Whip until mixture is creamy. Spread over cooled cracker crust that has been topped with sliced bananas.
