PEANUT BRITTLE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Karo white syrup
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. raw peanuts

Mix butter, salt, and baking soda. Set aside. Mix sugar, syrup, and water. Bring to a boil (250°F). While boiling add peanuts, stirring constantly. When temperature reaches 300°F, remove from heat. Add butter mixture, stirring briskly. Pour into desired greased pan. Cool.
