MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
16 c. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

In large bowl put last 4 ingredients. Microwave 2 1/2 minutes on high until it boils, stir and put back in microwave for 3 minutes. Remove and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Pour over popped corn in a brown sack and fold down twice. Put in microwave 1 minute on high, remove and shake hard, microwave 1 minute more and shake hard again, microwave 1/2 minute, remove and shake. Put on cookie sheet to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
