CONGO BARS 
2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts
2/3 c. butter, melted
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Batter will be very thick. Spread mixture in 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
