SHRIMP PILAU 
4 oz. bacon, cut up
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes cut up with liquid
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced okra
1 c. rice
Several dashes hot sauce
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. fresh, peeled shrimp

In large saucepan, cook bacon and onion until onion is nearly tender. Stir in undrained tomatoes, okra, rice, hot pepper sauce, water, salt and pepper. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Add shrimp. Cover and cook 5 minutes more. Serves 4.
