BOILED MAINE SHRIMP | |
Break heads from 2 pounds of fresh Maine shrimp. Place in kettle with 3 cups of water. Bring to boil and time 6 minutes. Cool and peel shells from meat. NOTE: Maine shrimp are so tender that they can be easily over cooked. It really is easier to remove from shell raw (cut under shell with scissors), then cook them 2 to 3 minutes in 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water. |
