PORKY - BEEF BAKE 
1 1/2 lbs. beef, cubed
1 1/2 lbs. boneless pork, cubed
1/2 c. rice, uncooked
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 white onions, quartered
1 1/2 c. beef broth
2 c. potatoes, cubed
2 carrots, peeled, sliced
2 tomatoes, quartered
1 green pepper, sliced
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Heat oil and brown meat. Remove meat. To the oil, add rice and onions. Cook until onions are golden brown. Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Return the meat to pan, add carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, green pepper, salt and pepper. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Serves 6 to 8.
