GRANDMOTHER'S FAMOUS DESSERT | |
1 prepared angel food cake 1 lg. box sugar-free chocolate instant pudding 3 1/2 c. skim milk 1 container low-fat frozen whipped cream product (Cool Whip) Break angel food cake in small pieces and place in large serving dish. (Use a deep container.) Mix pudding with the skim milk and pour over the cake pieces making sure that all of the cake is saturated with the pudding. Do not let the pudding set before pouring over the cake. Cover the cake mixture with the prepared whipped cream product. Chill until ready to serve. Garnish with chocolate curls. Additions: Mocha: Add 2 teaspoons instant coffee to the milk and stir until dissolved. Note: This is very low in cholesterol if the low-fat whipped cream product is used. |
